As a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), Denise is committed to providing the highest level of ethics and hygiene practices. BAcC members have an extensive training in acupuncture and biomedical sciences appropriate to the practice of acupuncture in the UK. As well as being covered by full Public/Products Liability and Medical Malpractice Insurance, members are bound by Codes of Ethics, Practice and Disciplinary Procedures. Denise's practice is local authority licenced.

Denise trained as a Complementary Medical Practitioner at the University of Westminster, London, where she obtained a BSc(Hons) Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, specialising in Acupuncture. Her training included a thorough grounding in Western Medical Sciences which enables her to practice integrated medicine.
She has worked in China at Cheng-Du Hospital in Sczhuan Province where she received intensive post-graduate clinical training in both in- and out-patient departments. Further post-graduate training in Tuina, a therapeutic massage technique, under instruction from Professor Zha Wei of Nanjing University of TCM and Patent Herbal Remedies; both of which are part of Traditional Chinese Medicine and can support Acupuncture treatment.
Before practicing Acupuncture, she worked for over twenty years in a variety of industries - providing good insight into the causes and impact of stressful work environments and the pressures of trying to achieve a work/life balance.
